Liz’s Fall Homecoming

A few Friday nights ago Elizabeth was able to attend her first Fall Homecoming dance at the school. I am so glad we are able to do “normal” things again this year.

The weather for this night was AWFUL! It rained and rained and rained some more.

The dance didn’t start until 9:30 p.m. after the football game, so I picked Liz up early from the game around 8:30 so she could start getting ready for the dance.

She was soaking wet from being at the football game even with having a poncho on!

It didn’t take her long though to fix herself up and she looked so grown up and pretty!

We met at a friends’ house at 9:15 p.m. for pictures and then they were off to the dance.

The dance lasted until 11:00 that night, but she called me around 10:45 saying she was ready for me to pick her up. She was over the heels and dancing!

She had a great time and said it was lots of fun, though.

Nights like this make me realize how quickly she’s growing up on us. I love her so much!

Have a great Monday!

  1. All the girls look so pretty! Our school canceled the homecoming dance and all the festivities again this year. Luckily my son couldn’t have cared less never having been to a dance before anyway! LOL. When I was in high school, our homecoming dance was always the night before the big game which was weird because all the football players had to leave early to honor the curfew set by their coach.
