Hello, everyone!
Hope you are doing well. Life is keeping us busy and most days I feel like my only job is to be my girl’s’ chauffeur, but I love it and am here for it!
A few weekends ago we were able to go watch a women’s college volleyball game.
If you know my girls, you know they LOVE volleyball. They are obsessed with certain team and we like watching women’s college volleyball together on TV.
Elizabeth has always liked Stanford because of Kathryn Plummer, so when I heard they were coming to play at University of Kentucky, I knew I had to get tickets.
It was a Sunday afternoon game, so we drove the 5 hours to Lexington, Kentucky that Saturday afternoon and spent the night in a hotel.
We slept in that Sunday morning then headed to the University of Kentucky campus. This place had such a cool vibe to it! There were cute shops and restaurants nearby and it was the perfect weather for walking around.

As soon as the gates opened for the game at noon we headed inside. We were able to watch both teams warm up and were mesmerized at how good they were! Alli Stumler from Kentucky is my favorite player so I was fan girling hard over her!

The game ended up going to 5 sets and Kentucky pulled off the win.

The atmosphere in that stadium was so cool and we loved making this memory with the girls! I’m so glad we were able to go!

We hope to start going on more weekend trips like this. We are quickly realizing how fast time goes and we don’t have many more years where all 4 of us will be under the same roof. I hope we are able to cross more states off our list of visiting and make more memories soon!
So far we’ve done:
Missouri (duh, we live here)
Kentucky
Florida
Colorado
Tennessee
Texas
Our rule for it to count as “visited” is all four of us have to be on the trip and we have to stay the night in the state and do something of value there.
So even though we’ve gone to Michigan and New York and California, those trips don’t count since all four of us weren’t there.
Hope y’all have a great Thursday!

That sounds like a wonderful experience for your girls!
