Happy Monday! I hope you had a great weekend.
I’m asking all of you to lift my nephew, Zach, up in prayer today. He is having surgery to fix his broken finger.
Not a major surgery, but when you are a Type 1 Diabetic and have to be put under, there is a lot involved!
Please pray his sugar levels stay stable and for God’s peace to be with him and my sister and brother in-law! Thank you in advance!
Today I’m linking up with one of my favorite bloggers, Erin, at Simple Purposeful Living for her 10 on the 10th post. This month’s topic is 10 favorite fall staples.
When I got to thinking about what fall staples I must have, I realized that I’m not too picky when it comes to fall staples. I could only come up with 5, so my list will be short and sweet!
In no particular order, here are my favorite fall staples:
I couldn’t make it without leggings in the fall! I love the versatility of them. They can be dressed up or down and are SO comfy! My only rule is that when I wear leggings, my behind must be covered! That’s a pet peeve!
2. A big cardigan
I love a big, oversized cardigan for fall. It is a great transition piece and something easy to always have handy for those cool mornings or chilly nights. I’m currently eyeing this striped cardigan for only $17!
3. Fall candles from Bath and Body Works
These are my FAVORITE candles by far! My favorite scent is Pumpkin Apple~ perfect for fall!
4. Cute booties
I am 6′ tall and have a hard time finding cute booties that don’t have a tall heel on them. Last year I found a cute pair at Shoe Carnival. This year I’m looking for a similar style in black.
5. Denim jacket
The last fall staple for me is a denim jacket. I love a good denim jacket to put over dresses or tank tops. Another great transition piece for those cool mornings or chilly nights.
There are many fall things we love to do as a family, but I couldn’t think of any other “staples” that I must have. I’m anxious to read everyone else’s posts to see what their fall staples are!
Hope you all have a great day. I am working half a day and then headed up to St. Louis for Zach’s surgery.
Leaving you with our #selfieSunday from yesterday. I also added some outtakes! I pray you have a blessed week! Thanks for following along with my blog.
