Happy Wednesday afternoon, friends! I meant to schedule this post for this morning, and it just didn’t happen! This week has been MAP testing week at school and it’s been a crazy week. Tomorrow is my 8th graders MATH day, so I am nervous/excited for them! I know they will do well!
What I’m reminiscing about:
Summer time! We only have 17 more days days of school left and then it’s summer! We can’t wait! I have been thinking about all the fun we had last summer and can’t wait to start our Adventure Tuesdays again.
What I’m loving:
Ben and Jerry’s Chocolate Fudge Brownie ice cream! This is our new favorite at our house and we can’t get enough of it.
What we’ve been up to:
It’s finally been warmer weather and we’ve been playing outside more. Chris is still busy with coaching baseball, but since volleyball is over for me it’s been nice to come home right after school and not have a busy schedule.
What I’m dreading:
Can’t think of anything right now, which is a wonderful thing!
What I’m excited about:
Liz had her 4 month check up at Children’s Hospital on Monday and she got a great report! Her A1C level was down to 6.9%. It started at 11.6% when she was first diagnosed and their target for her to reach was 7.5% within the first year. She knocked it out of the park and crushed that goal within months. I am so proud of her!
What I’m watching:
Lots of NBA basketball on TV with Chris. I hope the Cavs win tonight!
What I’m reading:
The Masterpiece by Francine Rivers. I just got it on Sunday and am almost done with it! It’s so good!
What I’m listening to:
Meagan Trainor’s new song, No Excuses, is one of my favorites right now and on repeat.
What I’m doing this weekend:
Friday night Liz has volleyball games and then Saturday morning we are leaving early for Springfield to attend our first JDRF One-Walk for diabetes awareness! I can’t wait to share with you all the final total our team has raised.
What I’m looking forward to next month:
School will be out, Emily turns 10 (DOUBLE DIGITS), and opening our pool! Lots of exciting things.
Hope y’all have a great day and rest of the week!
