Today our oldest, Elizabeth Faith, turns 11!!!!
I know all moms say it, but where did the time go?
The saying the days are long, but the years are short is SO true! I feel like I blinked and here we are at 11 years old with Liz.
Liz definitely has characteristics of being the oldest child and is very mature. She had to grow up quickly because little sister came when she was only 16 months old. She’s always acted older than her age to me.
Elizabeth has a grin that can light up any room.
I love to hear Elizabeth get tickled and laugh.
Elizabeth is entering the dreaded tween years and is starting to get more embarrassed by mom and all her “blog posts.” (I tell her she will appreciate them one day)
This year Elizabeth played volleyball and excelled at it. I really think she has a natural talent to be a really good player if she puts some hard work into it.
Liz is OBSESSED with all things slime. She will spend hours down in the basement playing with slime while blaring her music on her phone.
Liz is sarcastic like her dad and her mouth sometimes gets her in trouble. Sometimes she says really FUNNY things, but not at the appropriate time, and I have to remind myself that I’m the mom and I need to get on to her instead of laughing.
Elizabeth is a great friend and is always wanting to put other’s needs before hers.
I am so blessed that Elizabeth Faith is mine! She makes me so proud to be her mom.
I can’t wait to see what year 11 has in store for her!
Continue to “be you”, Elizabeth Faith and live your life to the fullest. I love you so much!
