Happy Friday and happy first day of fall! It is our big homecoming tailgate night here at Dexter and we are so excited! Elizabeth’s cheer team is performing at the tailgate and then the girls can’t wait to see all the pretty homecoming candidates dressed up.
Today is the first official day of fall! Even though this week it’s been around 90 degrees every day here in Missouri and still feels like summer, I am ready for fall! I love watching the leaves change colors and the cooler temperatures.
I’m not sure why I have never used these pens, but I am in LOVE! As a teacher, I am always looking for a good pen. I like Flairs, but they run out so quickly. Elizabeth had one of these PaperMate Ink Joy gel pens that I borrowed and they are my new favorite! I love how they write so smooth and all the different colors is an added bonus.
This cereal is the bomb.com. My sister had it when we went camping with them and I tried some and have been hooked on it ever since. I’ve had trouble finding it lately at our Wal-Mart but hope to stock up next time I see it in the store.
I saw this on IG the other night and laughed out loud! This shirt describes me and Liz SO well! Emily and Chris can hear a song one time and instantly know all the words to it. I hear a song 100x and I still have no clue what they are saying!?!?! Why can’t I just tell what they are saying? To learn a song, I have to read the lyrics while listening to the song MULTIPLE times!
These snapshots from the fair and spirit week are my last favorite thing for this week. I love Elizabeth’s face when she is riding the ride with her friends and I love how comfy Emily and her friends look for PJ day. Thanks to my good friend, Dawn, for sharing the pictures!
I hope you all have a great weekend. Ours will be BUSY, but is going to be a great one!
