Weekend Recap

Hi, friends!  Hope your weekend is great!

Today is our FIRST middle school volleyball game!  I am so excited!  And NERVOUS!

I am joining my ladies, Heather, Johannah, Lindsay, and Tanya to share all about our weekend with you.

Friday night I had MS volleyball practice and then headed with my BFF, Cassie, to PB for a Girl’s Night Out.

We ate supper and then went to a church over there for a ladies night out.  The guest speakers, Lisa Whittle and Holly Hayes, were really good and touched my heart.

It was a great evening!  My mom, Nini, and Aunt Niki were also there so it was a plus I got to see them too.

Saturday morning Chris and Liz were up early and headed to Cape for her volleyball tournament for the day. They fell shy of winning anything again.

I stayed back with Emily because I am coaching her 5th grade volleyball team and we had their first ever tournament!

Emily was READY!  She has went to her big sisters’ games for years and it was finally her turn!

They played so great and made me so happy.

We ended up getting 2nd place!  It was a great (LONG) day of volleyball.

Saturday evening we met Chris’s mom and dad up at Cape and ate supper with them and then went back home and crashed!

Sunday was truly a day of rest and was great!  It is very rare we have a day where we don’t have a practice or anywhere to go, so we took advantage of it!

Laundry was done, groceries bought, American Idol watched, and things ready for the week.
