Liz turns 15!

Merry Christmas Adam!!

Get it, Adam came before Eve, so today is Merry Christmas Adam. HA

Anyways, hope you all are enjoying the holiday season. I know I have said it before, but I can’t believe we are already here at Christmas.

Wasn’t it just Thanksgiving?

A few weeks ago, on December 12, our Elizabeth Faith turned 15! 15?!?! I still don’t feel like I should be old enough to have a 15 year old!

For her gift this year, I took her on an epic girls weekend trip.

We loaded up my bestie, Cassie, and her daughter, Macie, and hit the road for Madison, Wisconsin.

We watched the Nebraska vs. Wisconsin women’s college volleyball game and fan-girled really hard! So many athletes there we love.

Elizabeth loves Nebraska and Wisconsin was ranked 3rd, so we knew it would be a great game.

Nebraska lost in 4 sets, but it was a great atmosphere and great game. Memories I’ll cherish forever to see Elizabeth’s face light up when watching the volleyball game.

We made our way home through Chicago, Illinois and had a great time in the city!

We shopped the Magnificent Mile, went and saw The Bean, ate Garrett’s Popcorn, and of course Chicago-style pizza.

This trip will be hard to beat!

For Elizabeth’s birthday party this year we had a family Ugly Christmas sweater party and had some awesome sweaters!

Liz won first place because she put her cousin Zach’s face all over her shirt. It was pretty ugly!

Later that night I took her and some friends out to eat and then they came over for cake and ice cream.

Our Elizabeth Faith is so loved!

She’s going to hopefully take her permit test over Christmas break and that already has me so nervous.

I pray y’all have a Merry Christmas with your family and remember the true reason for the season.
