Happy Tuesday. We just got off a 4 day break and loved every minute of it.
This was our last break until summer, so we are definitely counting down the days now. Only 25.5 days left! We can do it!
Despite the cold and rainy weather, we had a great Easter break.
We headed to Doniphan Friday afternoon and camped at our river lot all weekend.
Friday night there were bad storms so after we went out to eat with Chris’s dad, we went back to his cabin until the storms passed instead of hanging out in the camper.
Saturday we went over to Nini’s house so she could iron our Easter outfits and the ice cream truck was going down her street as soon as we got there. The kids loved it!
My cousin, Haley, and her baby, Nolan, came over too and it was great to see them.
We spent the rest of the afternoon outside playing volleyball and just hanging out.
Then we went over to my sister’s house and let the kids dye eggs. I love not worrying about them making a mess now that they are older.
We went out to eat with Matt and Julie and then went back to our camper and crashed for the night.
Easter morning was so cold! 40 degrees and raining. We only packed certain dresses so we had to roll with it even though we were freezing. HA
We went to church with my mom and then went over to my Nini’s house for lunch. It was a great day!
We were going to camp another night, but it was so rainy and cold we decided to come home and get some things done around the house on Monday.
Monday we mowed the yard, did laundry, cleaned the house up, got groceries, and everything else to get ready for another week.
We have a lot of fun things planned soon and I love the spring season, so I know time will fly until summer time.
