Happy Tuesday!
Only 6 more days until Emily’s birthday in case you were wondering. She has been giving us a countdown for over a month now and it’s almost here.
Not going to do my normal weekend recaps anymore because frankly it’s summertime and every day is the weekend for us!
We’ve been enjoying our first few days of summer.
Lots of pool time:
Chris and I went on a double date with my sister and brother in-law and went golfing.
Golfing is the one sport I’m not very good at and it’s so frustrating for me! Chris on the other hand is good at everything he does!
My mom kept all the grandkids and played board games all night with them.
Chris and I have a few projects we want to accomplish this summer around the house.
The first thing is to power wash our deck and then re-stain it! This is a JOB. We’ve been working on it the last few days and finally almost have all the old stain off. 
And lastly, we’ve gone to our favorite place ever~ the beautiful Current River. 
I’m so thankful for my summers with my family. We have some fun things plan that I am so excited about!
Looks like a wonderful start to summer vacation. We had a little teaser of summer yesterday with sunny skies and temps near 80 so we headed out on our kayaks and soaked up the warmth and sun while we could. (Today it’s not even 60 and so darn windy I am so glad we did!).
