Hi, friends. Happy Monday!
Hope your weekend was great. Linking up with Johannah and Heather to share ours with you.
I first want to ask all of you to pray for one of my co-workers. Our art teacher’s husband went missing over the weekend. He was last seen riding his dirt bike around 3:00 Saturday afternoon.
Sadly, they found his body late last night. He leaves his beautiful wife and two small boys behind. BIG prayers for this family in the days, weeks, months ahead!
Friday right after school we headed to Doniphan for my nephew’s birthday party.
We had a nice evening together with family celebrating Tyler turning 14! Can’t believe he’s 14!!
Saturday morning was volleyball.
Emily’s team won easily, but Liz’s team lost in the third set to a tough team! It was a great game for both girls.
Right after Liz’s game, we came home and showered.
Then, I dropped Emily off at church. Her Wednesday night class was going to sing to the nursing home residents.
They ended up singing to them and playing BINGO with the residents also. Emily loved it!
It was such a great idea for her teachers to do this and I hope they plan on doing it again!
I had to pick Emily up early from the nursing home so we could head to PB for a wedding.
Our neighbor’s oldest daughter, Ashlyn, got married. It was a beautiful wedding! Emily was excited to see her buddy, Langston, at the wedding also! (This was his sister that got married).
I want to go ahead and arrange Emily and Langston’s marriage now! Aren’t they cute!?!!
We picked up groceries and then headed back to Dexter.
That evening Liz’s sugar went crazy again! She’s been staying so LOW! We adjusted her medicine again, so hopefully this helps!
Sunday morning I got up early and taught a few classes for VIPKID. I had one no show student, so I was able to just sit there and still got paid!
Sunday afternoon Chris took the girls to PB to go shopping and I stayed home by myself. I watched the season premiere of Grey’s Anatomy that I missed Thursday and then took a 2 hour nap! It was wonderful.
That evening we relaxed, cleaned the house up some, and played volleyball.
Leaving you with our #selfieSunday. I pray you have a blessed week!

What a beautiful night for your nephew’s birthday party to be outdoors! And, yes, Emily looks adorable with that little boy! 😉 I am SO sorry to hear about the art teacher’s husband! I just can’t even imagine, Jen!!!
Such a tragic accident.
LOVE that Ketchup shirt and know a few boys in this house that could easily get away with wearing that! So sorry to hear about the art teacher’s husband.. that is just awful!
