Yesterday we had our Hits for Hope game for Middle School volleyball. It was a wonderful night full of all things pink and raising money for local families fighting cancer.
We raised money all week through selling t-shirts, having a silent auction, raffling off a rocking horse, and selling other items such as cookies, pink bandannas, etc.
Our 7th and 8th grade teams looked cute in their pink uniforms and they both got the WIN last night, so it was even better!
Each girl, coach, and ref played in honor or memory of someone that was/is fighting cancer. I played in honor of my mother in law. It was a special moment when they announced who everyone was playing for; very emotional!
Thank you to everyone that came out and supported our team. It was a great night!
