Last Thursday night Chris and Elizabeth attended her 5th grade father/daughter (mom/son) dance. Liz had been looking forward to it all month!
They got ready right after school, then headed out around 4:30 for their special night together. I love Elizabeth’s dress she picked out and that she let me curl her hair.
Some of Liz’s friends got together and met a local photographer for some group shots and then some shots with the daddies and daughters. They turned out SO GOOD and I will treasure them always. I’m having a hard time choosing which ones to order! If you are local, check out Ashley Mosier Photography. She does amazing work!
Next, they enjoyed a fancy dinner at a local restaurant.
Then they danced the night away! Chris said most of the dads just stood around while the kids enjoyed dancing together! Chris and Liz did enjoy one slow dance. I’m thankful for my good friend, Kelly, snapping some action shots for me so I have them from the dance!
I know Chris and Liz will have great memories from this night forever. I’m thankful Liz has a great group of friends that she can be herself and have fun with!
Chris will get to do it all over again next year with little sister, so I told him to keep his dancing shoes ready. LOL

Ohh my goodness! The black and white picture of Chris and Liz is absolutely beautiful. I love a good black and white photo and I think that should be a contender to order! =) It looks like they had a great time!!
