Happy Friday! Hope you all had a great week. I feel like this week just flew by! I am ready for the weekend to relax a little bit.
Today I am linking up with Narci, Erika, and Andrea to share with you my Friday Favorites.
ONE
This week I found out that I was hired to be the Middle School girl’s assistant volleyball coach! I am SO excited. I interviewed a few weeks ago for it and the board meeting was Tuesday. They called me Tuesday evening letting me know I got the job and when I got to school on Wednesday morning, this backpack was waiting for me on my desk. The head coach, Coach Christian, got this for me as my welcome gift. How awesome is she?!?!?! I love the backpack with my name on it and look forward to a great season of volleyball this spring.
TWO
Speaking of volleyball, last night was our High School’s annual Hits for Hope game. This is where the schools get together to raise money for our local cancer charity here in Dexter, 18 Fore Life. It is a wonderful program that gives money to those that are battling cancer. The girls and I matched in our shirts to support the cause. We had a DPR volleyball game so we were a little late for it, but we made it in time for most of the Varsity game. The girls love watching volleyball and cheering on our two neighbor girls, Bailee and Lex. It was a fun evening of volleyball and both teams got a win! (DPR red and the Lady Cats). AND, my Emily finally got her serve over and scored us a point! Her excitement made my heart swell with pride.
THREE
Chris was reading in his Bible the other day and read this verse aloud to me. It seems like I’ve been dealing with a lot of negativity lately and sometimes I feel like I give out too much kindness and it is never reciprocated very well. This verse spoke to me to always remember that it doesn’t matter what kindness you get back in your life, it’s the kindness you give and speak to others. Kindness truly is best!
FOUR
This song, So Will I, by Hillsong United is my current favorite. I have it on repeat every morning when I am getting ready. Please take a moment to listen to it, it is such a great song!
FIVE
My nephew, Tyler, is one of my favorites every day, but he is one of my Friday Favorites because today he turns 13!!!! I can’t believe he is a teenager. He is such a great kid and will do great things in life! I love his creativity, imagination, and kind heart. Happy Birthday, Tyler Hunter! Aunt Jenny loves you so much! Can’t wait to celebrate this weekend with you.
Hope you all have a Fantastic Friday and wonderful weekend! I encourage you to do a small act of kindness today to help make someone else’s day a little brighter.

Thanks, Britt!
That is a great list! I love being an aunt too. My 13 year old niece was the first baby in my life, before I had my own three, and when she turned 13 it was like..what?! So fun to watch them grow up.
Yes, I don’t feel old enough to have a nephew this old! I’m really giving my sister a hard time about it. Thanks for stopping by. Have a good weekend.
What a great list! Congrats on making coach and I too love the song “so will I” So good!
