Anyone that knows me, knows I love to label everything! I think it was when the girls were small and went to daycare that my love of labeling started. At daycare, so much had to be labeled: sippy cups, clothes, jackets, lunch boxes, etc. I had a hard time finding the best label to use that would stick to any surface and last through washes. Well, I still label everything and recently saw THESE labels on Andrea’s blog and decided to try them. I think they are great! So far I have put them on the girls’ new Yumboxes and their winter coats. I have even washed their coats and the label held up well. I just use a Permanent Sharpie to write their name and it works great. Now, I find myself wondering what else I can label!
This challenge is the second thing I am loving this week. I found it as I was scrolling through Pinterest one evening and then saw it again on FB. I love all 10 acts and am going to challenge myself to complete all of them in the month of February. Ever since Elizabeth had her Acts of Kindness birthday party, I have really tried to be more conscious about going above and beyond for others to show kindness. I’m excited to take this challenge and hopefully it will brighten my students and/or co-workers’ day.
My whole adult life I have always worn Cool Water perfume or Happy by Clinique. I recently was shopping at Victoria’s Secret and saw their Bombshell Fragrance on sale. I had never even smelled this fragrance before, but decided to try it out. I didn’t even spray it at the store, I just hoped that if it was the #1 seller at Victoria’s Secret it would be good. I was pleasantly surprised when I got home and sprayed it on how well I liked the scent. Now, it won’t top my favorite Cool Water, but this is a great alternative that I am glad I tried. I know I am probably really slow to the Bombshell fragrance train, but I encourage you to give it a try if you are looking for a new perfume!
My last favorite this week is our Thursday night tradition of family game night. It isn’t even about the game we are playing, I just love that my girls get so excited and look forward to our Thursday nights. We make sure our showers are done early and homework is finished before supper so after we eat we can play our game. Each week we take turns picking out what game we want to play. The girls are getting older and are able to understand some more complicated games, so we are really enjoying this season with them. I know you hear me say it all the time, but I am so thankful for my family!
Well, that is all for now! Hope your Friday is amazing!
