What's Up Wednesday?

What’s Up Wednesday?

Happy Wednesday!  Happy Halloween!

We are all a little bummed at our house this morning because of the rainy weather forecast, but we are still going to enjoy the day.  Can’t wait to share pictures of the girls!

Today, I am linking up with ShayMel, and Sheaffer.

What I’m reminiscing about:

October 20 my dad would’ve turned 59.  I’ve been thinking of him a lot lately and all the great memories. He loved Halloween and today is bittersweet because of that too.

What I’m loving:

My favorite snacks are in the stores this time of the year.  Last weekend, I picked up all 3 of my top faves and I was so excited!

What we’ve been up to:

We enjoyed a great fall break to the Smoky Mountains in TN.  Read all about our trip here and here.

Going to lots and lots of ball games.  The girls are at such a great age because they go and chat with friends and I get to chat with my friends!

What I’m dreading:

The weather tonight messing all our plans up!

What I’m excited about:

Both girls had NO cavities at the dentist yesterday!

Also, my mother in-law got a good scan at the doctor this past week and the cancer isn’t spreading!

I’m working on some great things for the blog that I’m excited about!

What I’m watching:

Lots and lots of sports.  Tis’ the season for football and baseball on the TV.  I was excited to see the Red Sox win since I have so many blogging friends that love them!

What I’m reading:

Just finished a few good ones, but currently have these on my night stand:

What I’m listening to:

My BFF and I went and saw A Star is Born the other night.  Now, I am listening to that soundtrack on repeat.  Especially Shallow, I Don’t Know What Love Is, and I’ll Never Love Again.

What I’m doing this weekend:

Hopefully having my nephews over to spend the night and then going to Doniphan for lunch Sunday afternoon after church.

What I’m looking forward to next month:

Thanksgiving break and being one step closer to graduating with my Master’s Degree in December!

I’ll be back tomorrow to share our Halloween with you!

  1. My heart breaks for you about losing your dad, especially as memories pop up as each holiday and season comes. Hugs!!

I love the three-tier decor you have on your coffee table! Super cute!!

The Perfect Couple is a good book!! Let me know what you think of the other one you will be reading.

I want to see, A Star is Born… I bet I will be one of the last to watch it. I have heard so many good things about it.
