Happy Thursday to you! This has been a really LOOONNGGG week so far. I think we are just so ready for Christmas break! {7 more days}
A great thing from this week: we were able to get my garage door fixed Monday evening, so my car was freed from the garage! #hallelujah
Had a few random things I wanted to share with you all today. Enjoy 🙂
Tuesday I wanted to link-up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday, but I just didn’t have the time to blog. If I showed you my mountain of papers I have been grading lately, you would understand why. Anyways, Tuesday’s topic was to share your Christmas decorations. I didn’t take a lot of pictures and don’t decorate a lot, but I do LOVE our Christmas tree and stockings, so I wanted to show those to you.
Tuesday evening we had our first Christmas party to attend this holiday season. We went to Teen Challenge’s Christmas banquet and had a wonderful evening together. Chris’s dad is the executive director of Adult and Teen Challenge in Cape Girardeau. It is a WONDERFUL ministry that helps tons of men break their addictions. I am so thankful to get to witness the wonderful testimonies of how God is changing these men’s lives.
Elizabeth had a special living biography project at school yesterday. They had to choose a famous person to research, dress like them, and then give a speech about their person to different classes. I was able to go on my planning time and hear her give her speech. She chose to be Shawn Johnson (Olympic gymnast). She did a great job and I was so proud of her!
We have been enjoying a lot of hot cocoa at our house this week since it has gotten colder. Emily won a basket at the Teen Challenge Christmas party from Chocolate Works with tons of good stuff in it. Last night we were able to enjoy a cup of hot chocolate with chocolate spoons! The girls thought this was the best thing ever. I love their enthusiasm for the little things.
I hope you all have a great Thursday! We have a school Christmas play to attend tonight and then it’s a weekend full of cheer and more birthday celebrating.
See you tomorrow for my Friday Favorites!

We are big fans of got chocolate @ the Hensley House, and it’s gotten so chilly here in Tennessee too. ❄️
We have heard some amazing testimonies come out of teen challenge and I have learned so much more about the amazing things they do! I love the girls Christmas shirts and your white shirt is darling, those sleeves are too cute! xoxo ERIN
Thanks! Yes, TC is a wonderful ministry. Have a great weekend, friend.
