Friday Favorites

Happy Friday and what a beautiful day!

Today I am linking up with Erika, Andrea, and Narci to share my Friday Favorites.

ONE

The first thing this week is that I have been able to walk every day after school except yesterday.  I am trying to walk about 3 miles every day just to be more active and feel better.  I am slowly going to add in some jogging, but for now it’s walking.  Happy {our dog} has been loving it!

TWO

I know you are probably tired of hearing about our volleyball team, but last night we played our last game of the season.  The girls were sad that it was over, but I am SO proud of how much they have all improved this season.  I’m glad I decided to coach them and let them get the experience of playing volleyball.  It was a great season!

THREE

My third favorite thing this week is this picture of me and my girls matching in our Hits for Hope volleyball t-shirts.  Hits for Hope is a local charity here in Dexter that gives money to families that are dealing with cancer.  Our Middle School has a Hits for Hope volleyball game where we pink out the gym and honor and remember those that have been affected by cancer.    They also raffle off great prizes and all the money raised goes to Hits for Hope.  It was such a great night and the girls loved matching me for the day….. {Well, Emily did and Elizabeth pretended she did} HA!

FOUR

The last thing I am loving this week is that my father in law was the 100th customer at our McDonald’s earlier this week and he won a free Happy Meal EVERY week for a YEAR!  He gave us the card since he obviously doesn’t eat Happy Meals, so Emily was SO excited!  Elizabeth hates McDonald’s and won’t hardly eat it, but Emily loves her some chicken nuggets.

Hope you all have a great Friday!  We only have one week until we move into our new house so you will find us this weekend packing away!

  1. I love that your father-in-law was the 100th customer and got a ticket for a free Happy Meal each week. My kids would love that. What a cute picture of you and your girls! I am glad that the volleyball season was great! Happy Friday!
