Friday Favorites

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!  It is FRIDAY and we are on Spring Break, so it has to be a good day!

ONE

We SOLD our house!  At first I had mixed emotions about this, but I am excited that we were able to sell our house so quickly.  What a blessing that we were able to sell it with it only being on the market for about 7 weeks!  I will miss our neighborhood SO much, but I am excited that we are getting a house with more space!  Now we are just praying that everything goes smoothly with everyone’s loans and it all works out.  We should be able to move by the middle or end of April, depending on how fast the inspections and appraisals get done.

TWO 

Our high school girls’ basketball team made it to STATE!  Wednesday morning our whole school district got together and gave them a pep rally to send them off to Columbia, MO.  It was such a great atmosphere and actually brought TEARS to my eyes!  They made a video of previous LBB {Lady Bearcat Basketball} players wishing the team good luck!  Also, Coach Sitze gave an excellent inspirational speech, the band played, and we had a cheering competition between each school.  It was a fun morning!!  I’m thankful I live in a community that supports their school so much!

THREE

This week I am LOVING this organization drawer I have in my classroom!  I have had it for a few years and would be lost without it.  I usually get all of my papers copied for the following week on Fridays.  It is so simple to collect all my papers and put them in the corresponding drawer on when I will teach that lesson.  Total space saver and time saver because I always know where my papers are for every day of the week.  Chris says I’m a total dork that stuff like this excites me!  I couldn’t find the exact product to link, but I did get it at Lowe’s.

FOUR

The last thing I am loving this week is that March Madness has officially begun!  So far I am doing really well on my bracket.  My goal is to do better than Chris because if I beat him he owes me a back rub and he has to cook supper one evening.
