My oldest nephew, Tyler, was chosen for All-State choir and his all-state concert was this past weekend.
The concert was up at Lake of the Ozarks in Osage Beach, MO.
We left early Saturday morning to make it in plenty of time for his concert.
The amount of talent in that one room was unreal! They all sounded so good!
Afterwards we went and celebrated at Baxter’s Grill. Tyler chose seafood so that is what he got! It was a really nice restaurant and the food was excellent.
We kept the celebrating going and stopped at Andy’s on the way back to our hotel.
The girls ended up staying with my sister and BIL at their house they rented on the water, so I got a hotel room ALL to myself!
It was so quiet I didn’t know what to do with myself! I was so tired from a busy week and getting up early and was asleep by 9:00! It was great!
The next morning we ate breakfast at First Watch (my favorite breakfast spot ever), then headed back home.
I wanted to get back in plenty of time to get my weekend chores done and watch football with Chris!
I am so thankful the girls and I were able to go up and support Tyler! I am so proud of him and can’t believe we are getting closer to his graduation day!
