Happy Monday, friends!
Is anyone else wondering how we are already in the last week of January? January is usually SLLOOOWWW for us, but this year it has flown by.
Friday after school the girls had some friends over. They played outside, ate pizza, and then we headed to our high school boys basketball championship games.
Both our JV and Varsity won first place for the county! It was a great night to be a Bearcat! Our cheerleaders also won County Champs and this was their 6th straight year to win! #6peat
Saturday morning started early with me heading to Poplar Bluff (by myself) to pick up groceries for the week.
I was a little early to pick my groceries up, so I made a quick stop to Hobby Lobby to get some Valentine’s Day decorations.
After I made it back home, I grabbed the girls and we then headed to Cape for a full day of dress shopping. Both girls have dances coming up where they need to have a semi-formal dress to wear.
One girl likes to shop, the other girl HATES it..can you tell which is which from this picture?
This is how Emily pushes the cart in Target for me too. #shesahoot
After a full day of shopping, we stopped by a new thrift store that Teen Challenge is opening up and checked it out with Chris’s parents. It’s looking really good!
We ended the night with playing ping pong and watching a movie, 47 Meters Down. It was good, but scary!
Sunday morning was church and then we headed to Emily’s basketball game in Oran.
It was a tough loss for her team with a final score of 10-8.
After her game we went into Cape and ate at Logan’s Roadhouse. Chris and I are officially done with the Daniel Fast, so his parents took us out to eat to celebrate that. I had a steak and it was GOOD!
Sunday night we came home and got everything ready for the new week.
Leaving you with our #selfieSunday. I pray you have a blessed week!
Linking up with Heather, Johannah, Lindsay, and Tanya.
What a fun weekend! We were high school basketballing it up too on Friday, and it was so fun! I can’t believe that it is almost February!
I love the atmosphere of a good HS basketball game.
I can’t believe January is almost finished either! Don’t you love WM grocery pick up? I have just started using it. Have a wonderful week.
I LOVE it! I even drive 30 minutes to do it, but in the long run it’s faster and cheaper!
Sounds like a busy weekend! Hope you have a great week!
Same to you! Thank you.
Sounds like a fun and athletic weekend!
It was a great one!
I love that heart wreath you got and of course your precious Sunday selfie!
Thank you, friend!
