Friday Favorites

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday! I’m so glad to see Friday here. This week has been challenging with us trying to get back into a routine.

Today I am linking up with NarciErika, and Andrea to share with you my Friday Favorites.

My sister got me started on this type of gum and I love it! It’s definitely my current favorite.

Liz had to go back to cheer this week for the first time since her diabetes diagnosis. We were both a little nervous about how she would do, but when Liz got to practice her cheer coaches had a gift waiting on her with this sweet card attached! It definitely made her {and my} day and gave her that confidence she needed to make it through cheer practice.

I’m so thankful for wonderful people around my daughter that loves on her!

I’ve not had a soda since January 1! This is a really big deal for me since I was drinking so many a day. My head has hurt all week but it’s been so worth it. Since Elizabeth can’t have them anymore I told myself I wasn’t going to drink anymore either and I’ve stuck with it. It’s getting easier every day!

Liz got the Game of Life for Christmas and it’s our new favorite. We’ve already played it a few times. Chris has ironically gotten the career of teacher every time we’ve played and when he gets married he always puts his wife in the very back of his car. I think he’s trying to tell me something!

Hope y’all have a great Friday and a great weekend!

  1. That Life picture still cracks me up. We are big fans of the Game of Life, and my boys think it’s hilarious that they “have” to get married! What a fun night! Love your motivation for kicking the soda habit, and I am really trying to do better, but I just love those pesky Dr. Peppers so much! Have a fabulous weekend, friend!

    1. He was being really funny with the game! We love playing it. My head is finally starting to feel a little better, but man I would LOVE a Dr. Pepper! LOL Hope you have a great weekend, too! Can’t wait to read about your anniversary getaway.

    1. Thanks, you too! I can’t comment on your blog for some reason, but you will love your KitchenAid Mixer! I need a lesson on using Canva also. I can’t figure it out!

  2. Good for you, we are trying to kick the caffeine habit over here too but it’s so hard! xoxo ERIN
