Show and Tell Tuesday: My Loves

Happy Tuesday and Happy Valentine’s Day!  I just love this special day.

It is kind of a different Valentine’s Day than what we had planned because Chris’ mom is having surgery on her leg this morning.  He is at the hospital with her now and as soon as school is over the girls and I are headed up there to see her.  I am hoping we can take the girls somewhere nice to eat for a special Valentine’s Day dinner.

Anyways, today I am linking up with Andrea for Show and Tell Tuesday.  Today’s topic is talking about our loves!  If you are new to my blog, I’m going to quickly introduce you to the loves that I live with and one thing I love about each of them.

CHRISTOPHER JAMES

My first love is Christopher James.  We started dating in May 2000 when I was 15 and he was 16.  There is so much I love about Chris, but the one thing that I love most about him is that he makes me want to be a better person.  He has an infectious attitude that makes people around him want to be at their very best.  Chris encourages me to always be the best “Jen” and makes me be a better mom, teacher, wife, daughter, etc.  I’m so thankful this is our 16 Valentine’s Day together and I pray the Lord blesses us with many more.

ELIZABETH FAITH

Elizabeth Faith is my oldest daughter and my second love.  The one thing I love most about Elizabeth is that she pays attention to others.  She is always putting others before herself and has such a kind and sensitive heart.  She has the best memory and is able to remember stuff about people that others wouldn’t pay much attention to.  She hardly ever gets in trouble, is SUCH a great big sister, and she’s a great friend.  I’m so glad God chose me to be her momma.

EMILY GRACE

Emily Grace is my third love and our youngest daughter.  She was definitely a SURPRISE blessing, because her and Elizabeth are only 16 months apart in age.  God knew exactly what he was doing when he gave us Emily Grace.  We almost lost her when she was born, so she truly is our miracle baby.  The one thing I love most about Emily is that she’s a warrior.  She has had to overcome so much already in her lifetime and has such a fighting spirit.  She is carefree and wild and brings us laughter every day.  She is definitely a leader and does not care what others think about her.  I thank God every day that she is mine!

HAPPY SUNSHINE

fullsizerender-55

Happy Sunshine is our 4 year old Silkese {half Silky, half Maltese}.  She is such a great puppy and follows me around wherever I go!  I love how excited she gets when she sees me get my blanket out of the closet to sit down on the couch and when we ask her if she wants to GO how she runs to the door and wags her tail.  The quote about a dog being a man’s best friend certainly applies with our Happy!

I hope you get to spend today with those that you love.

Have a great rest of the week!
