Happy Thursday, friends!
We’ve almost made it through another week. We have fall break next Thursday and Friday, so we are ready for that!
On Monday, I documented my day to share with y’all. I always plan these way before I know what the day might hold, but this was a pretty typical fall day for us.
I woke up at 6:30 a.m. and laid there for a while not wanting to get up. I slept awful for some reason the night before!

Finally got up and instantly made the bed. I always make my bed every day, no matter what!

Get ready for the day and am ready by 7:00 a.m., but kept my comfy robe on.

Go eat breakfast and hang out with the family. My girls are SO good at getting up and around by themselves. Perk of having strong, independent kids.

Braid Emily’s hair.

Finally go get clothes on and pick the house/kitchen up.

Take this cutie to school with me. Chris takes Elizabeth to HS and Emily rides with me.

I have morning duty this week, so my morning is super busy as soon as I get to school with making sure everything in my class is ready to go before I go outside.

Teach 1st and 2nd hours all about transformations. (I teach 8th grade math)

Then I have my high school Algebra 1 class the rest of the morning. (They are 8th graders, but are taking an advanced high school class). We are learning all about slope intercept form right now. I love teaching this stuff! #mathnerd

It’s finally my prep and lunch time. I run home really fast and talk with Chris for a little bit (we have the same lunch) and switch laundry out.

I go to our local Chinese place and pick up lunch for a few teachers.

It was my friend, Jess’s, birthday so we all planned to surprise her and eat lunch together. Even one of our old co-workers came and ate lunch with us. We had Chinese and cake, it was a wonderful time!

I teach 6th and 7th hours and then have my 8th hour advisory class. This is a time I can get all my stuff caught up. Our first quarter ends Friday, so things have been pretty busy lately with grading and planning.

These cuties come and see my after school for a snack before they head to cheer practice.

I tutor after school until 4:00. I love tutoring!

Picked Elizabeth up at 4:15 from volleyball and dropped her off at home. She hates pictures so I had to sneak this one.

Then it was time to pick Emily up from cheer at 4:30.

Come straight home and get supper going. Easy ravioli bake tonight!

Tried to lay on the couch with Chris while supper was cooking, but Emily was right there all up in our space.

Eat supper.

Clean the kitchen up and close it down for the night.

Go for a walk with Chris and Happy.

Next, I go and watch my friend’s little girl play volleyball. Her team won by 2 points in the 3rd set. It was an exciting game!

Come back home to make sure girls had all their homework done, showers taken, stuff like that done. Chris is getting ready for hunting season so he got a bunch of his stuff out that night to get ready. And he talks and talks about all. things. hunting.

We all watch an episode of Everybody Loves Raymond. I love this sitcom!

End the night with taking a bath.

And call it a night around 10:30 p.m.

Thanks for reading my blog! I’m so glad you are here. Is my daily routine similar to yours?
I love being mom, teacher, wife and am so thankful for my many blessings in this life!
Have a great Thursday!

Well I was going to say I was so jealous you get to sleep until 6:30 but then I go to bed around 9 so I’m pretty sure it all evens out! I love that you are close enough to home to leave school mid day and do laundry, see your hubby, etc. It sounds like a great day (I LOVE Algebra– Geometry not so much).
I’m right there with you. I am not a huge geometry fan and could sit there and solve algebra problems all day long! 🙂
