Happy Monday!
I am trying to get myself in the habit of doing weekend recap posts again since we are about a month away from school starting back.
In the summer, I have a hard time with these posts because every day feels like a weekend to us.
Before I start with our weekend, I wanted to wish my nephew, Zach, and my brother in-law, Matthew, a VERY happy birthday today! How cool is it that they share their special day?
Our weekend was nice and relaxing.
Friday night Liz was at a birthday sleepover and so we let Emily have friends over at our house.
Friday night while they swam and played in the basement, I read my book almost all evening. I love reading in the summer!
Saturday I picked Liz up from her sleepover and all of Emily’s friends went home and then we headed to my aunt and uncle’s house to see our baby cousin!
My mom and Nini were there babysitting her actually. She’s already almost 2 months old and the sweetest thing! We had a great afternoon visiting with them.
Saturday when we got home we ate supper and the girls showered and cleaned up their rooms.
We went on our evening golf cart ride.
The girls went to bed early and I stayed up and finished my book! It was GOOD, even though morally I didn’t agree with the story.
Sunday was church followed by eating Mexican for lunch.
That afternoon we went over to Doniphan and drove around and then stopped by my sister’s house to see them.
We ate supper out and followed it with ice cream since it was national ice cream day. #duh

I too thought 28 Summers was a good read but did not agree with the morality of the story!
I’m listening to 28 Summers. Almost done. It’s a tough one because it’s like you want them to get caught but at the same time you don’t!
