Vacations

Florida 2020- Part 1

Happy Wednesday, friends! Happy July! I hope this half of the year is nicer than the first half.

We are back from our vacation to Florida and I wanted to share the first few days with you.

Unfortunately, our cruise we were going to take in August got canceled. We had planned this quick trip to FL in addition to going on the cruise, because we can’t go a whole year without going to Navarre!

Anyways, if we would’ve known our cruise was canceled before we booked this trip, we would’ve stayed longer.

We still had a great time together! Being at the beach or any body of water is definitely our happy place!

We drove down to FL all day on Sunday. Our girls are great travelers and are fun to ride with!

We made into Destin, FL around 4:00 that afternoon.

We went down to the HarborWalk Village in Destin and shopped some of our favorite stores.

We were shocked to see the giant tree that is usually there was torn down! We were SO sad as we like to always get our picture made here every year. They said they had to tear it down because of rot and branches falling down.

After walking around HarborWalk, we went and ate supper at Lulu’s! This is one of our favorite restaurant in Destin.

We ended the evening with ice cream to celebrate Chris for Father’s Day!

We stayed the night at Destin on Sunday and woke up Monday morning and had to check the beach out. It was a beautiful morning!

Our condo in Navarre wouldn’t be ready until that afternoon, so we stayed in Destin all day and took the girls to Big Kahunas water park.

It was AWESOME! Chris and I were the biggest kids and did every ride with the girls. I don’t have many pictures from there because we put our stuff up in the lockers and enjoyed the day!

We finally made it to Navarre around 3:00 and made our way to the beach!

This time we stayed farther down the beach away from everyone and loved it.

That night was ended with Tommy’s Snoballs and crab hunting. Nightly traditions while at Navarre!

Here is a video I put together if you want to check it out!

That’s all I have time for today. I’ll be back sometime soon for the last few days of our trip!
