Happy Monday!
I hope this Monday finds you healthy.
We had a great Easter weekend.
It was definitely different than our norm, but we still had a great Easter just us 4.
I miss my family SO bad!! As soon as we are out of this quarantine, I am driving to my mom and sister’s house!
On Saturday we dyed Easter eggs. I love that the girls still get excited to dye Easter eggs. You are never too old to dye eggs!
Sunday I was the crazy mom that made my family get up and dressed for church on the couch.
We didn’t buy new outfits this year, but it’s the first time we’ve been out of our comfy clothes since quarantine started, so I call it a win!
After church, I fixed my own Easter dinner for the first time also! No pictures but it was delicious and I was pretty proud of myself.
I will gladly give the cooking duties back to my mom and Nini next year though!
That afternoon we were lazy and took some naps and played card games. I also was feeling reminiscent and looked at all the pictures from past Easters. I miss dressing the girls up in matching dresses!

Hope you and your family had a great Easter!
In our household we said we were going to replace our fear with faith and turn our worry into worship during this crazy time! I hope you will do the same.

Looks like it was a great day & I love your household saying :). I broke down last week and went to see my parents and sister, although I kept it all at social distancing, but it was good to see their faces and have a short conversation. Have a good week!
I may just have to do that as well!!! FaceTiming just isn’t the same!
It looks like you had a great Easter, considering the current state of things especially. You truly have a beautiful family, friend! Yesterday was the first day I got out of comfy clothes too, haha! I hope my pants all fit after this!!!!
Thank you! I haven’t put jeans on since March 15. Hope they still fit too! lol
My boys wouldn’t dye eggs this year. I wasn’t surprised as I practically had to bribe them to participate last year. I keep thinking I’m going to plan a vacation to my sister’s once all this passes (since I can’t just drive there like I can to go see my mom).
We are planning a huge trip. Not sure where to yet but we are just gonna go and enjoy our freedom!
I loved all the pictures of the matching dresses! For many years, we bought several fancy dresses at Sam’s or Costco each year for Grace. So cute! We didn’t dye eggs this year because there has been somewhat of an egg shortage at the store and I didn’t want to use them. But my kids are so big they really didn’t mind. We did baking instead! Have a good week!
They have limited eggs here so you can just get 1 case per customer. So that helps! Baking sounds yummy!
