Weekend Recap

Happy Monday, friends!

I hope your weekend was great. Our weekend was one of the best we’ve had in a long time.

Friday after volleyball practice, both girls were with friends, so Chris and I went out to eat together. I love anytime I can get out of cooking!

We made it back home in time to watch my hometown girl’s HS basketball team win districts! They were losing by 22 in the 3rd quarter, but made a comeback and won by 1 point! It was an impressive game.

After that game, I taught 4 classes for VIPKID. I love this side job! I can do classes anytime I want and it helps pay for all our family trips.

Saturday was a busy day! I had to go first thing in the morning and get blood work done. Not my favorite thing, but glad I was able to get it done on a weekend.

After that, I did all the laundry and cleaned the house up before my mom came to our house so we could head to Emily’s volleyball tournament.

It was her first games of the season and they played so well!

It was a loooonnnggg day of volleyball but so fun!

They came up short with 2nd place, but they are just getting started and I think it will be a great season!

After volleyball, we headed back home to eat supper and then Chris and I went and got groceries for the week.

Sunday we headed to Doniphan to hear Chris’s dad preach at my sister’s church.

Only Chris Bolin would tie his boat up to his truck and take it to church with him. HA

After church, Chris and my brother in-law went fishing all afternoon. While they did this, my sister, mom, and I took the kids exploring.

We ended up in Mammoth Springs, AR at a beautiful state park. The spring there was awesome.

We had a great day together! Any time you can be with your family it’s a great day!

We ended the evening with a big fish fry at Matt and Julie’s house and then headed back home to get ready for a busy week.

Emily has 2 volleyball games this week and Elizabeth has her first ever MS volleyball game, so it should be a great week!

Leaving you with our #selfieSunday! I pray you have a blessed week.
