Yes, that’s the book for me. I stand all alone on the Word of God. The B-I-B-L-E.
Anyone else singing that catchy tune from your children’s church days?
Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about the Bible. It’s been heavy on my heart to read the Bible more.
I will be the first one to admit, that this is the area where I slack! I blame it on not finding the time to sit down and read my Bible.
However, this is NOT the truth, because I can sit down and scroll IG or FB for an hour and not think anything of it!
I heard someone the other day on a Podcast mention the Bible as their “owner’s manual.”
This immediately struck a nerve with me. I don’t think we should think of the Bible as an owner’s manual for life.
I have only looked at my owner’s manual on my car ONE time and that was to figure out what type of oil it needed.
Why do we think as Christians we should only look at our Bible when we have a problem or need “advice” on what to do?
Although the Bible is a great place to turn to, we should be studying God’s word and reading His word DAILY!
I don’t know about you, but I want to be known as a WOMAN OF THE WORD.
I encourage you today to not fall for the lies of this world just because other Christians believe them. Be deeper than that. Be stronger than that. Be wiser than that. Know your Bible. Study your Bible.
Have a RELATIONSHIP with God!
I guess I am typing this today to remind myself and you to take the initiative and get into God’s Word.
Hope your Tuesday is great! We have another ball game tonight. Cheer is keeping us busy, but I love watching Lizzie do her thing!
