Hope your weekend was great.
Ours was really low key and wonderful. This time change has us all messed up, but we are going to keep on keeping on.
Friday night Chris went bow hunting and got a 9-pointer! This is the first deer he’s ever shot with his bow, so he was excited!
Saturday I slept until 10:00! I was exhausted! I hardly ever do that, but it felt nice! Both girls slept until like 10:30-11:00 also. We apparently needed the extra sleep.
After we ate, we got ready and headed to Cape. It was youth season and Chris had plans to take Liz hunting that evening.
Elizabeth didn’t shoot at anything but they saw a few deer and had a great time together.
Emily and I shopped all day while they were hunting. She had some money that was burning a hole in her pocket!
Sunday was church and then we ate lunch with some dear friends of ours. I wish I would’ve thought to snap a picture, but I didn’t.
Sunday afternoon Emily had basketball practice, Elizabeth had volleyball practice, and then Chris’s dad came over for supper and to watch the Patriots game. Again, I failed at taking any pictures. (I’ll get better, I promise)
Sunday evening we were barely keeping our eyes open around 8:00 so we decided to hit the hay around 8:30!
