Weekend Recap

Good morning, friends!

What a wonderful weekend!

Friday night after school the girls and I went to watch our HS volleyball teams play in the championship games for County tournament.

Our JV won first and our Varsity girls placed 2nd. It was a great night of volleyball.

Saturday morning started early for me teaching some VIPKID classes. I love these kids I teach!

Then Emily and I went to my classroom and met some of her friends to make their Halloween costumes together.

It was so fun and the girls are going to look super cute!

Saturday afternoon I read my book outside while the girls played volleyball.

Then we went over to Chris’s dad’s house because his grandma was in town and we wanted to visit with her.

While we were there, we carved pumpkins with the girls.

One girl was happy about carving pumpkins:

And one girl was not:

HA! We had a good time together though. We haven’t carved pumpkins in a long time and I still to this day don’t know how people do those cool designs on theirs!

Saturday evening Chris took me out to eat and then we came back home and watched a movie together.

Sunday morning we were able to go listen to my father in law preach. It was good to be in church with him and Chris’s Grandma Bolin.

My FIL is such an anointed man of God and I love hearing him preach.

Sunday afternoon Emily had basketball practice and I went and got groceries for the week.

Then we all headed to the girls’ choir concert.

It was a great concert and only lasted about 30 minutes, so even better!

As soon as their concert was over we headed to Doniphan to be with my family.

It would’ve been my dad’s 60th birthday, so we all got together for a fish fry in honor of him.

We ate fish, had a family Glucagon training (diabetes), and painted pumpkins.

My heart was so full and I know my dad was smiling down.

Leaving you with our #selfieSunday. I pray you have a great week!
