Happy Wednesday, friends! We’ve been having gorgeous weather here lately and it really has me wishing it was summer time! Only 15.5 days left of school!
Today, it’s one of my favorite link-ups of the month with Shay and Sheaffer.
What I’m reminiscing about:
Sunday we went to church with my mom and they had their church service in the HS gym. This is where Chris and I both graduated. In the gym, there was a banner from when my basketball team won 2nd in state! The girls thought it was neat to see my name on the banner. We have also been getting a lot of HS graduation announcements in the mail lately, so I’ve been reminiscing about our HS days. Those will always be great memories!
What I’m loving:
That we only have 15.5 days left of school! And technically only 10.5 days left for me since I will miss a whole week while I’m on my cruise!
What we’ve been up to:
Things have drastically slowed down for us since volleyball is over. It’s been nice to come home right after school and have some down time. We’ve been playing outside every chance we get.
What I’m dreading:
MAP testing is coming up in a few weeks. I know my students will do well on it, but just getting out of routine to take the test is always a challenge.
What I’m excited about:
My CRUISE!
What I’m watching:
Nothing lately. Chris and I have been spending a lot of our evenings together outside and I’ve been trying to read more than watch.
What I’m reading:
I just started, Lovely Little Things. I’ve got a few good books lined up for my cruise that I am excited about!
What I’m listening to:
Hillsong United- They have a new album coming out Friday and it has so many good songs on it!
What I’m doing this weekend:
I will be on a cruise ship out in the middle of the ocean headed to the Bahamas. 🙂
What I’m looking forward to next month:
The end of the school year, Mother’s Day, Emily turns 11 and RIVER DAYS!

Wow! You get out of school so early! I think my boys probably only have a few weeks left of school too as they’re all down to just math and writing but our local schools don’t get out for two more months. Enjoy your cruise!! We went to the Bahamas for our honeymoon.

We live on about an acre of land, but the back yard is so wide open and spacious. I love it!
Have a wonderful cruise! I love your yard / open space. If we had acreage like you did, my hubby would want a riding lawn mower! And our dog would love the large running space (after being fenced, of course). Here in my part of CA, homes are fairly close together. Although we are blessed to have a home and yard and space, it’s only regular lawn mower sized. LOL
We live on about an acre of land and no houses behind us either. It’s a wonderful yard for the girls to play in. We definitely have a riding lawn mower. 🙂

I can’t wait! I’m so excited. I might not be able to sleep tonight! I just pray I don’t get sick. When I get back I will only have 8 school days left. YAY! 🙂
