Weekend Recap

Good morning!

Happy 7th Birthday to our Happy Sunshine!

After today we only have 3 more Mondays and then it’s summer time!

This weekend was great and my heart is definitely full going into this week.

I am joining my ladies, Heather, Johannah, Lindsay, and Tanya to share all about it!

Friday after school we headed to Cape for Emily’s volleyball games. They had the 6:30 and 8:00 games, but we went up early to eat supper at Chick Fil A, our favorite!

Emily’s team played great! They won one game and then lost the other game by 2 points! I’m proud of how well they are playing in this league.

Saturday morning we were up early for Liz’s volleyball tournament.

This tournament was just pool play on Saturday so we were done at a decent time in the early afternoon.

We went to Chris’s mom and dad’s house to get ready for the Teen Challenge banquet that evening.

Chris’s dad is the President of Adult and Teen Challenge Mid-America. Teen Challenge is such a great ministry and we love going to this banquet every year.

This year Chris’s cousin’s girls sang the National Anthem. They sang BEAUTIFULLY!

Chris’s uncle prayed at the banquet and his Gran was there, so it was so nice to see his family and have them there with us that evening.

I’m so thankful for Teen Challenge and all they are doing to put hope within reach for every addict!

Saturday we got home LATE and Sunday morning came early!

Liz had the 8:00 a.m. game for her bracket play.

They won their first game, but lost their second game and so they were done. This was their last tournament of the season.

It’s been fun watching them play, but I’m ready to have a little break from all the volleyball and our weekends back!

Afterwards, we went and ate lunch together as a team and then headed back home.

I was so glad to see my home Sunday evening!

We were able to watch the replay of Tiger winning the Masters?!?! How awesome is he! I was so glad he won.

Leaving you with our #selfieSunday. I pray you have a blessed week!
