Prime Purchases

Happy Tuesday!

Our MS girls played good last night! 7th grade won and 8th grade lost, but they got their first game jitters out of the way so that’s a plus also.

Today I am linking up with Tanya and sharing some of my Amazon Prime purchases lately.

Honestly, I haven’t bought very much through Amazon over the past few weeks.

Here is what I did buy:

Chris and I were given a baby crib for our foster room from a dear friend.  (Thanks, Jess!)

When we went to put it together it was missing just one screw and nut piece, so I ordered this kit to have for future needs.  It worked great and I was able to put the crib together very easily!

I also ordered this crib skirt for said crib.  I went with white to work for both genders.  We haven’t received any calls for foster kids lately, but I wanted to finish the room off with a crib just in case we got a call for a 1-2 year old.  Chris wants older than 3, but I want any kid that needs a safe place to go.

Pi Day is coming up!  Any math nerds out there with me?  My co-workers and I have some fun Pi day activities planned and I needed a Pi-shaped cookie cutter, so I ordered this one.  I hope it works well!

Are Crocs popular in your town?  They are popular here and both girls have a pair.  For Christmas, Liz got some Croc shoe charms with characters on them, so she wanted me to order her some letters and numbers also.

I found this set on Amazon and ordered them.  I’m anxious to see what she spells or does with them for her Crocs!

That’s all I’ve ordered the past few weeks.  This month I know my Amazon cart will have tons of stuff in it getting ready for my cruise!  I can’t wait!

Hope your Tuesday is great.

  1. Did she want white crocs, because that is all the volleyball girls around here are wearing!? 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️ Praying for you all as you open your home tonfostering babies and kiddos who need love and support!

  2. That is so funny about the crocs and the croc charms! Right now all the kids are wearing tall socks with slide sandals. I remember those croc charms. Also, I love that pi cutter. How fun!

  3. How exciting to be putting a room together for your future foster babies!!!!

We celebrated Pi Day last year when my family was here with pot pies for supper. 🙂 It was fun! Your cookie cutter is perfect!

  4. Definitely think Pi day would bring the fun into the classroom! I didn’t buy much this past month either and was honestly pleasantly surprised at myself.

  5. What an awesome blessing you and your family are going to be to whoever gets the opportunity to stay in your foster room. They will instantly be a part of your family forever no matter how little or long they stay there. A huge adventure of ministry you are embarking on! We’re going to be on Spring Break this year for Pi Day, otherwise that cookie cutter would be in my cart!

    1. We have been in foster care for a while and had a few placements but took a break when my dad passed away and when our daughter was diagnosed with T1D. Can’t wait for Pi Day, but jealous of your spring break!
