Happy Monday, friends!?!
This weekend was beautiful weather and the sunshine was good for my soul!
Friday after school Liz had volleyball practice and then a birthday party that she went to.
Since she was gone, we invited Emily’s basketball team over to hang out and eat pizza.
They had such a great time together! I love having a basement full of kids.
While they were downstairs hanging out I was able to catch up on my Grey’s Anatomy show that I missed this week. It was such a great episode!
Saturday morning we drove to Woodland for Emily’s last basketball game of the season.
They won by 15 points and Emily played great! She is such a hustler and improved dramatically this season. We are so proud of her.
As soon as we got back to Dexter I went to Walmart and got groceries for the week and then dropped Liz off at a friends house to spend the night.
Chris, Emily, and I then headed to Doniphan for the evening. Chris and I were able to catch up on life because Emily was sound asleep the whole time.
My sister had a nice supper that evening to celebrate my brother in-law’s new promotion!
He is going to be the President of the bank he’s worked at for the last 5 years. We are so proud of him and know he will do great with this job!
I now refer to him as Mr. President and my sister as the First Lady! HA
My nephew ended up coming home with us and spent the night. Him and Emily are only 7 weeks apart and are really close!
Sunday morning I got all the things ready for the day. I cleaned house, did the laundry, and made all my goodies for our annual Super Bowl Party.
Everyone arrived around 4:00 and we had the best evening together. I’m so blessed with a wonderful family!
We ate lots of good food, had a ping pong tournament (my Uncle Scott was AMAZING), celebrated my Aunt Manu’s bday, and watched a little bit of the football game!
It was LATE before we made it to bed, but worth it!
