Hi, friends! It’s the last Wednesday of the month, so it’s time for my monthly WUW post with Shay and Sheaffer.
What I’m reminiscing about:
Warm weather! Today it is supposed to feel like 15 degrees most of the day! 15?!?!?! I am so ready for warmer weather where you can walk outside without it hurting you!
What I’m loving:
That the insurance company has been SOOO good to work with on Chris’s truck. We finally have the green light to go truck shopping for a new truck. This is our first experience with a totaled vehicle, but our insurance company has been pleasantly easy to work with.
What we’ve been up to:
Lots of sports! Emily is so busy with basketball right now and will go straight into her volleyball season after basketball is done. Liz is busy with her travel volleyball and has been practicing for their next tournament coming up. Sometimes I feel like all I do is drive the girls to different activities, but I love every minute of it.
What I’m dreading:
Happy’s paw is hurt and I’m already dreading having to give her her medicine again today. She didn’t do very well taking it last night. Any tricks or tips to give a dog a pill?
What I’m excited about:
Our Middle School volleyball season starts next week! I love volleyball and am so excited about the new season coming up!
What I’m working on:
Planning all of our vacations for this year. We have exciting places we are going!!! I can’t wait.
What I’m watching:
All my favorite shows are back on from their winter break. A Million Little Things is a show that I binge-watched over Christmas break and I love watching it! It comes on right after Grey’s Anatomy on Thursday evenings. Have you watched it?
What I’m reading:
I’ve read a lot this month and will do a book review tomorrow. I am currently reading Kristin Hannah’s The Great Alone.
What I’m listening to:
I still find myself listening to A Star is Born soundtrack, especially Shallow. I love that song!
What I’m doing this weekend:
ALL the things! Liz has volleyball practice Friday night and then a birthday party! Emily’s team is coming over to our house Friday evening for pizza and hanging out. Saturday Emily has her last basketball game at Woodland and then we are headed to Doniphan for a special celebratory supper for my brother in-law. Sunday is church and then our annual Super Bowl party at our house with family! It’s going to be a great one!
What I’m looking forward to next month:
Valentine’s Day, both girls going to their dance, and lots of volleyball!!!!
Hope you all have a great Wednesday and try to stay warm!
