Happy Thursday, friends! Chris and I only have 3 more days on our Daniel Fast.
I’ve been hungry lately for something besides a baked potato or salad….I think I can, I think I can.
Today I wanted to share what a typical day in my life looks like.
I do these posts every season because it’s fun to look back on what was going on at that particular time in my life.
Here was my Tuesday this week:
I slept in a little because I didn’t have to wash my hair, so I got up at 5:50 a.m.
Showered, got dressed, emptied the dishwasher and finished making the girls’ lunches.
Taught one class for VIPKID (6:30-7:00 a.m.)
Ate breakfast~ whole wheat flatbread with organic peanut butter and all natural jelly
Braided Emily’s hair
Finished getting ready (I always wait to get in my outfit of the day until the very end of the morning )
Started a load of laundry
Went to work and made sure everything was prepped for the day. I teach 2 classes of 8th grade math, then 1 high school Algebra 1 class, and then an advanced 8th grade math class.
Go home for lunch~ salad, baked potato, pickle, and some wheat crackers.
Fold the laundry and switch clothes from washer to dryer
I had to take Chris to his truck to get some pictures sent off for the insurance company. (These pictures don’t show half of the damage).
Back to school and end my day teaching two more advanced 8th grade math classes
Volleyball open gym after school from 3:30-5:00
Chris picks me up (we only have one vehicle right now) and we go through BK drive thru for the girls.
Go home, feed the girls and start to fix us some stuff for supper. Chris ends up finishing the cooking ….
Because I have to drop this one off at basketball practice at 6:00.
Get back home and eat supper~ whole wheat pasta with organic spaghetti sauce, whole wheat wrap with organic peanut butter, corn, brown rice with veggies
Wash dishes and clean the kitchen up
Put the girls to bed and then eat a little bed time snack~ simply organic corn chips and some organic salsa
This is what a typical day in my life looks like. It’s busy, chaotic, but such a blessing!
Thank you, Lord, for everything you have given me!
