Happy Monday, friends!
Hope your weekend was incredible.
Friday night the weather was NASTY where we live, so we cancelled our plans and stayed at home all night. It was WONDERFUL! Even though we didn’t get the snow they were forecasting, it was nice to stay in and relax with my people.
We played ping pong, watched TV, and then went to bed early! I think I was asleep by 9:00 that night. #noshame
Saturday morning started bright and early and we headed to Liz’s volleyball tournament at Cape. It was her first tournament playing in this new club ball league and they played great! They were missing one of their starters because she broke her tailbone. 
They are playing in the 13U division even though all our girls are 12 and 11. How the deadline fell with birthdays, a few of our girls made us go up to the 13U division.
Because of this, they played mostly 7th graders. (We are sixth graders)
I was so proud of how well the girls played! They hung right in there but ended up losing in the semi-final game.
They will only get better and better with time. I can’t wait to watch them through the years!
We were in that gym for 10.5 hours. Y’all, 10.5 hours! Needless to say, we were all exhausted and went home and crashed.
Sunday we cleaned house, got groceries, then cuddled on the couch and watched football.
