Hi, friends! It’s Monday! This weekend was COLD here in MO! We went from 90+ degrees to 50 degrees in a matter of a few days! Where is our fall weather???
We are counting down the days this week until FALL BREAK! Can’t wait!
Friday after school both girls had friends come home with them and then we headed to volleyball games. Our high school teams were playing in the county tournament and we wanted to go and support them!
It was a GREAT night of volleyball! All games that we watched went to three sets. Our JV team ended up taking first place and became County Champs! Our Varsity girls fellshort and got second place in the county. We love our Dexter Bearcats!
Saturday morning was Elizabeth’s last volleyball game. They lost in the third set. Liz hated ending with a loss, but they had a great season!
Right after Liz’s volleyball game, the girls went with Chris’s parents to Cape and I ran to PB to get groceries and for a volleyball meeting.
I came back to Dexter and put my groceries up and was supposed to go and get the girls from Chris’s parents, but they decided to stay up at Cape until after Chris got done hunting, so I had the afternoon to myself. It was wonderful!
They played volleyball together while daddy hunted, so they all had a great afternoon, too.
Since I had time to myself, I went and got my nails done.
Then I caught up on watching my shows and did a little work on my blog.
Saturday evening when Chris and the girls got home, we were super lazy!
Sunday Chris went hunting and I taught some classes with VIPKID.
The girls and I had a good mix of lazy and productivity Sunday. We got all our laundry caught up and the basement cleaned.
After lunch I had to take Emily to her friend’s birthday party.
I picked her up in time for her to go home and change clothes and then head to basketball practice.
While she was at practice, Liz had a few friends over to paint pumpkins with. They played volleyball also and had a great time together!
Sunday evening Chris picked Emily up from basketball practice and then took her to piano/voice lessons. She was a busy girl!
Sunday night I worked on homework while we got everything ready for the week.
We are going on a special trip this long weekend and we can’t wait! But first, I need to survive Parent/Teacher conferences on Thursday!
Hope you all have a great week! Leaving you with our #selfieSunday. I pray you have a blessed week!
