It’s Friday! YAY!
Today, we are taking our 8th graders on a field trip. Wish us luck!
I have a few favorites from this week that I want to share with you. I’m linking up with Andrea, Erika, and Narci.
ONE
One of my BFF’s at school brought me my favorite bag of candy! She knows me so well and knows these M&M’s are my favorite! My day was made.
TWO
Our school really stepped up to help our art teacher during this horrible time. We all pitched in and donated tons of non-perishable items and gift cards for food/gas. I am so thankful to work in such an amazing place!
THREE
We decided where we are going for our fall break and I can’t wait!
FOUR
Chris is done coaching football for this season! It has been so nice to have him come home with us right after school.
FIVE
Emily got a positive referral at her school the other day. Basically, she was caught being good. She hasn’t received many of these, so she was super excited! We are proud of her!

I love the idea of the positive referrals, I bet that just made her feel like a million bucks, way to go Emily! I bet it is so nice to have Chris home after work now. I am praying for that teacher, and I love that you have all taken such great care of her. I hope you have a great weekend!

I used to teach high school English & Science (what a combo, welcome to NC where we will mash up anything and everything!) and I can totally agree celebrating the positive makes the biggest impact. I’m not sure where you are but your photo reminds me of my favorite little spots in the NC/TN mountains (I also pretty close to them). But I’m sure it’s somewhere else I always think people are vacationing in my neck of the woods when I see non-Rocky Mountain photos!
