Happy Friday! I am so glad to see Friday here!
I have had one of the worst weeks I’ve had in a while. Everything seemed to mess up, everything seemed to go wrong, being back in the full swing of things has been hard, etc.
I know I shouldn’t complain, because we are all healthy and fine, but man! This week has kicked my booty.
I do have a few favorites from this week that I want to share with you. Always find the good in every day is my motto!

ONE
My girls got their school pictures back this week! Aren’t they beautiful?!?! I am a proud mom!
TWO
Liz ordered a bunch of new PumpPeelz stickers for her Dexcom transmitter and they finally came in this week. Diabetes is HORRIBLE and it’s something we think about 24/7, so if I can make her day a little brighter to make her Dexcom a little “prettier”, I will do it! Definitely money well spent! Her Dexcom is so cute now!
THREE
Last week I told you about my friend making new earrings. They are so cute and lightweight! Well, this week she made me a volleyball pair! I LOVE them! The HS volleyball team has their first game on Monday, so I will definitely be rocking these earrings!
FOUR
Our GoldenDoodle, Max, has fit right in with our family. He is SO smart and is such a good dog. Him and Happy are finally learning to get along and will at least tolerate being in the same room together. His favorite “spot” in our living room is to scoot my plant and lantern out of the way and lay on the cool tile in front of the fireplace. He will sit there for a long time just hanging out.
FIVE
My cousin Madi is keeping the girls tonight and Chris is giving me money for my birthday to go shopping ALL BY MYSELF!!?!?!?! Did you hear that?!?! ALL BY MYSELF! I am so excited!
Hope everyone has a great weekend! We are celebrating my mom’s birthday, my birthday, and my cousin Haley’s birthday this weekend! Should be FUN!

I’m sorry you had such a crappy week!! Hopefully some shopping alone will make it all better =) Enjoy your alone time! Your girls school pictures came out SO good. They are adorable little girls! And how cute is Max. I also love that Liz made her dexcom a little prettier. I can’t imagine what you all go through every single day dealing with her diabetes. She’s a strong little girl and you guys are too as her parents. I hope one day there will be a cure for diabetes. We can certainly hope and pray!

Yes, we pray for a cure every day! It’s such an invisible disease that never stops. Liz is so amazing though!
