Friday was full of volleyball and getting ready for our tournament on Saturday. When I finally made it home I found Emily like this, living her best life.
Saturday was our 5th/6th grade volleyball tournament.
We played in the morning and won 1st place out of 8 teams! I was so proud of how well all the girls played.
That afternoon we worked the concession stands while the 6th graders played and then cheered them on. They won first place as well, so it was a great day for Dexter Volleyball!
This is Anna, a fellow Type 1 Diabetes Warrior and Liz’s great friend. She is in 6th grade and her and her mom have been wonderful to Liz and I with all our T1D questions. These girls tore it up on the volleyball court yesterday and won’t let anything stop them! They are brave and strong and make me proud!
We ended the evening with eating Mexican with a bunch of our friends.
Sunday the daylight savings struggle was real and we were lazy ALLL day long!
Emily had basketball in the afternoon.
Chris got a new reel that he got ready for the river.
And then that evening we laid around and watched American Idol.
It was a wonderful weekend!
