Weekend Recap

Weekend Recap

Hi, friends! Happy President’s Day! Thankfully we have the day off from school today and plan to spend it being lazy!

Today I am linking up with Heather, Johannah, and Lindsay for a recap of my weekend.

Friday night I had volleyball practice until 5:00 with the MS girls, and then Liz had practice from 6:00-7:30 for her travel volleyball team that I’m helping a little with this year. So it was a night full of volleyball and I loved every minute of it!

While Liz and I were busy with volleyball, Chris took Emily to Cape looking for deer sheds and then out to eat. They had a great evening together.

Saturday morning I reorganized a lot of things! I cleaned out my laundry room, organized our backpacks and coat area, and moved some of Elizabeth’s diabetic supplies around. It looked a little crazy during the process, but it’s so much cleaner looking now.

The girls and I headed to Wal-Mart so they could get slime supplies. Elizabeth is making slime to sale to raise money for diabetes awareness and is doing really well with it!

While they made slime all afternoon I cleaned house.

Then it was an evening of grading papers while watching the Olypmics and going to get groceries with Chris. Wild Saturday night!

Sunday was church and then Emily had a basketball camp she went to. She was so excited!

Afterwards, Emily went to spend the night with a friend, so Chris and Liz went to Cape together to go exploring in the woods and out to eat.

This allowed me to have the whole afternoon/evening to myself to finish grading my papers and get my homework for the week done! It was such a quiet afternoon and I was very productive!

Sunday evening Chris and I watched the NBA All-Star game while Liz got her slime orders finished up and organized!

Leaving you with our #selfieSunday. I pray you have a great week!

  1. It sounds like a great weekend. I love that cart your girls use for making slime. I really should get one of those.. in the spring and summer we spend so much time outside working on art projects, science experiments and our schoolwork.
