Happy Thursday! This week is really kicking my tail and there has been lots going on. We have parent/teacher conferences ALLLLL day today, so it will be another busy day.
Today I wanted to share pictures of our kitchen with you. This was another room we remodeled when we moved in and we love the way it turned out!

We painted, put new back-splash up, and changed the counter-tops. Those simple changes made the world of difference! We also added the kitchen island that I am in LOVE with! <I just got it a few weeks ago, so some of the pictures don’t have the island in them.> My neighbor, Chad, built it for me and did an EXCELLENT job! I need to find the perfect way to decorate the shelves, but I don’t know exactly what I want yet.
Our next “to-do” in the kitchen is to change the appliances. I want stainless steel appliances, but Chris believes heavily in the saying “if it’s not broke, don’t fix it.” So as an appliance breaks, we will replace it with stainless steel.

P.S. Please pray for my mom tomorrow (October 20) throughout the day. It would’ve been my dad’s 58th birthday and I know she will have a hard day of missing him. I know I’ve had a rough week of missing him, so I can’t imagine her heartache.
