Teacher Tuesday

Good morning! I hope you all had a wonderful Labor Day weekend! We had an amazing weekend away with my family camping. I plan to have a blog post up about it either tomorrow or Thursday.

Today I am linking up with Andrea at Momfessionals to give you a tour of my classroom. I teach 8th grade math and absolutely love my job. I get a lot of people that tell me they have no idea how I teach middle schoolers, but I love them~ awkwardness and all!

Hope you enjoy my classroom~ it is simple, yet colorful. I spend a lot of time in here and wanted a space that fit my personality and that I would enjoy being in.

The Fridge is where I put up random papers that are important to me. Usually it is for showing off great work from students, but right now it has art work from students and from my own kids.

My desk area. I hardly ever sit here! When I do sit here it’s just to check email or use my document camera to show the whole class something.

The shelves behind my desk. Lots of personalized goodies from students and pictures of my girls. Also, baskets full of extra office supplies. My purple toolbox is also housed on my shelf. It is a lifesaver and has everything I need in it!

Well, that is a quick tour of my classroom. I am very organized and everything has a certain place that it belongs. It’s hard to explain everything in each picture, so if you have a question, don’t hesitate to ask me!
