Summer Bucket List

Happy Monday!  Today is so special to me because it is me and Chris’s anniversary!  We have been married for 13 years!  Yes, 13!!!!   I love him more and more each day.

As most of you know, my dad went to be with Jesus Friday, June 2.  Last week was a very hard week, but through all the heartache it was nice to be reminded how great of a guy my dad was through his visitation and funeral.  I have tried to start a blog post about my dad and what he meant to me, but every time I go to write something I break down crying.  At some point, I plan to share sweet memories of my dad.  He was a one of a kind guy.

Thank you for all the texts, calls, food, gifts, and most of all prayers during his passing.  I was reminded yet again that there are still a lot of good people left in this world.

Today I am back to blogging and am going to be sharing with you our summer bucket list in the Bolin household.

When every new season gets here, we like to sit down as a family and come up with things we would love to accomplish together for that season.  Some are repeats and what we always do, but we try to come up with a few new things to try each season as well.

This time our list ended up being pretty simple.  The new things for this summer are that Emily wants to try to kayak on the river and Elizabeth wants us to all go to Six Flags as a family.

I hope we are able to check off everything on our list!  If not, I know just being together will make it a great summer!

Hope you all have a great week!  My first Master’s class started today, so I am going to try to go see what all is due this week and get started on homework.  I haven’t even started anything yet and some of the girls I am doing the program with have already finished all the assignments for week 1!  You can definitely tell it’s been 11 years since I’ve went to school.  Yikes!

Please continue to keep my mom, sister, and me in your prayers.

Matthew 5:4 “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.”
