Friday Favorites

Happy Friday!  Boy, am I ever glad to see the weekend get here!  I am linking up today with Andrea, Erika, and Narci for my Friday Faves.

ONE

I am loving the EveryDollar software program.  Chris and I are doing the Dave Ramsey plan and trying our best to get out of debt within the next 18 months.  We have the usual debt {medical bills, student loans, boat, etc.} and it’s nothing crazy, but we are tired of always paying our money to bills.  We are really focused right now to become debt free and the EveryDollar app is helping us with that.

TWO

I am loving our dog, Happy, this week.  She is the BEST dog and I just couldn’t imagine life without her.  We joke that she is better behaved than our own children.  We still crate her when we are gone, but sometimes we forget.  If we forgot to put her up, when we come home we will find that she put herself in her kennel.  She’s just laying there with the door to her kennel wide open.  It’s so funny!  She also knows our morning routine so well that she will go put herself in her kennel when she sees me braiding the girls hair because that’s the last thing I do before we leave the house.  Love our Happy Sunshine!

THREE

The third thing that I am loving is Liz’s new curling iron.  For Valentine’s Day her Nana and Papa got her a Hot Shots Tool titanium curling iron.  I have used it a couple of times on her hair and I love it.  It makes her hair feel really smooth and heats up fast.  I am not a huge curling iron fan because I am very simple when it comes to hair and make-up, but I’ve been impressed with this one so far.

FOUR 

The last thing I am loving this week is APRIL THE GIRAFFE!  April is in a zoo in New York and she’s fixing to have a baby at any time!  You can watch the live feed here.  I am not sure why I am obsessed with watching this crazy thing, but I am.  I have been watching since yesterday and nothing has happened so far.  I think I am afraid to turn it off because I “might” miss something.  Not sure if I even want to see the live birth, but just think it’s cool.   I have been looking up all kinds of giraffe facts lately.  This baby giraffe is going to be born as tall as me (6 ft.)!
